The final project for my SEO specialization course was to pick a local business and make a plan to consult them on their SEO efforts. I chose a ski shop in Natick, MA with a lot of SEO potential!
Pitch Deck
First, I created a pitch deck to present to the client.
The pitch deck goes over 3 strengths and 3 weaknesses of the website. Following each weakness, there is an argument for how and why their site would be improved by fixing the issue. It ends with kick-off questions to ask the client.
Research
The next step was to research valuable keywords to target as well as find out who their top competitors are.
Data from the spreadsheets was compiled with additional research on my client’s target audience and put into an Initial Research Report.
The next steps were to complete content analyses and a keyword map to assign keywords to each page.
All of this work was put into the Detailed Client Report below and accompanied with this video presentation to the client.
